Before I ever picked up a camera, I was a storyteller.
Before I ever picked up a camera, I was always finding ways to create. As a kid, I would make up stories, draw pictures for the people around me, write little poems for my family, and make up songs for celebrations. I was the kind of person who could turn almost anything into a creative project. I loved imagining little worlds, coming up with ideas, and making things just because I thought they would make someone else smile.
That part of me has never really gone away. Photography became another way for me to do what I had always loved—tell stories, create a feeling, and turn an idea into something tangible.
